According to the health statistics from 2006—2015 in Qingdao, this paper describes the current supply and distribution of health manpower resource in Qingdao. By using the methods of ratio of health care staffs relative to populaiton, time series, comparative analysis and ratio reckoning, this paper forecasts the quantity of health manpower in Qingdao in 2020. The results show that the number of Qingdao health manpower will reach the standard set by national government. However, for the change of economic, social and demographic situation, the volume and structure of health manpower resource need to be continually enhanced and improved.
