Objective: To analyze the effect of global budget of New Rural Medical Care on the per-visit inpatient compensations,inpatient compensation rates,per-visit inpatient out-of-pocket expenses and inpatient out-of-pocket rates.Methods:The difference in difference method was used. Results:Global budget of New Rural Medical Care decreased the per-visit inpatient compensations,per-visit inpatient out-of-pocket expenses and inpatient out-of-pocket rates by 14.37 yuan(not statistically significant),141.51yuan(statistically significant) and 5.23 percent(statistically significant),respectively.Furthermore,global budget of New Rural Medical Care increased inpatient compensation rates by 5.23 percent(statistically significant).For the detail diseases,the effects of global budget of New Rural Medical Care were different. Conclusion:Global budget of New Rural Medical Care increased the inpatient benefit ,but the effect was varies by conditions.In addition,measurement of global budget’’s standard still need to be scientific and reasonable.
