Abstract:In recent years, health economics had already developed into an individual discipline, and attracted both academic and public interested. Compared with the developed countries, although the study of health economics in China starts relatively slow, it has already attracted more and more attention by the academic along with the rapidly social development. With the strong support from international organizations and academic institutions, China had gradually established its health economics research net from 1990’s, the research system had improved and a serious of research achievements had already play an more and more important role in the procedure of government decision making. This paper summarized the research progress in the field of international and China’s health economics, in order to provide references for research and policies.
