As the leader of regional medical service system, large public hospitals have made a great contribution for the task of socialist construction and the medical and health needs of the people in different historical periods of China. In present, China’’s health care reform has entered a crucial stage, it has provided higher requirements to large public hospitals. Mean whiles, with the reforms speeding up, some of their problems are gradually revealed. To achieve the goals of health care reform for maintenance of public welfare, motivation of enthusiasm and insurances of sustainable development, it has more work needs to be further strengthened to large public hospitals.
