Abstract Objective: To analyze the meaning and method of how to construct and apply standard disease model in pharmacoeconomic evaluation in China. Method: Methods of theoretical analysis and qualitative research were applied. Results: It’s important to apply standard disease model in pharmacoeconomic evaluation in China and there is feasible technology roadmap existing, but the accessibility and quality of data was the major hurdle there. Conclusion: To apply standard disease model in pharmacoeconoc evaluation is important and necessary but data gap must be filled.
