Adhering to the principle of "attaching equal importance to Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine" is the national health policy in China.It is necessary to play important role and reflect the advantages of TCM especially in medical insurance payment methods.By analyzing and summarizing typical practices about five cities (Shanghai,Nanjing,Hangzhou,Baoding,Zhongshan),it puts forward relevant suggestions such as exploring a combination of multiple paths payment methods about Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),strengthening the follow-up evaluation of implementation effects,so as to provide references for reflecting the elements and values of TCM in the reform practices of various regions,and promoting the characteristics of TCM hospitals.
