Objective: To analyze the health resources allocation of professional public health institutions in 21 cities in northern Guangdong，eastern Guangdong，western Guangdong and Pearl River Delta Region from 2019 to 2021，so as to provide references for the overall planning of professional public health resources. Methods: Rank-sum ratio method，agglomeration degree method and Theil index were used to analyze the equity of professional public health resources allocation in 21 cities in different regions. Results: There were great differences in the allocation structure of professional public health resources in Guangdong Province. The resource aggregation degree in the Pearl River Delta Region was greater than 1，and the ratio of resource aggregation degree showed an increasing trend to varying degrees except the Pearl River Delta Region. The overall fluctuation of Theil index of various resources was small，and the contribution rate of intra-group difference was high. Conclusion: The equity of health resources allocation in professional public health institutions in Guangdong Province is not high，which is mainly affected by population，economy，geographical environment and other factors. It is necessary to reasonably measure the resource demand，continuously increase the input of resources，and optimize the allocation structure.
