Objective: In order to promote the coordinated development and governance of medical insurance，medical treatment and medicine，and further improve the scientific level of price adjustment through the analysis of medical service price index. Methods: Based on the price base of 9 categories of medical service projects in Shandong from 2018 to 2022，the total price index and structural index were calculated to compare with the consumer price index，so as to analyze the influencing factors and degree of index changes. Results: The overall index of medical service prices showed an upward trend，except for the increase rate in 2020 that was higher than the CPI growth rate，the other annual growth rates were lower than the CPI growth rate of the province，and the sub-index of medical service prices varied greatly. Conclusion: It needs to establish a linkage mechanism for medical service price adjustment，a cost actuarial mechanism，a peak-shaving and valley-filling list mechanism，and a medical consumption separation management mechanism.
