To achieve high-quality development, public hospitals should continuously improve management capability and innovate management mode. By adopting specialized disease operation mode, public hospitals can restore functional positioning, improve medi- cal quality, and optimize patients’medical experience. Taking Union Hospital Affiliated to Huazhong University of Science and Tech- nology as an example, it summarizes the functional mode of special disease operation by analyzing the connotation, implementation, management objectives, and efficiency of the specialized diseases operation mode, which provides an experience for promoting the high-quality development of public hospitals.
