Objective: To explore the utilization of medical service and its influencing factors, and to provide suggestions for the health care system of disabled elderly. Methods: Basing on the survey data of the utilization of medical care among disabled elderly in nursing home in Shenzhen, Andersen’s health services utilization behavioral model was conducted to analyze the utilization and influ- encing factors of health care and nursing services for the disabled elderly. Results: Among the disabled elderly in nursing home in Shenzhen, the proportion of severe disability and comorbidity was large, and the utilization rate of medical care was high. Marital sta- tus, monthly pension, medical insurance reimbursement ratio and hospitalization in the past 6 months were the main factors influencing the utilization of medical service for the disabled elderly in nursing home （P＜0.05). Conclusion: The management of chronic disease should be improved and medical care and nursing care should be integrated to expand the supply of medical service in nursing home. Much attention should be paid to the vulnerable group, which means the social support and economic support should be strengthened to promote the use of medical service by the disabled elderly.
