This paper summarizes the payment experience of innovative medical technology in the UK, including separate payment and supplementary payment under the HRG system and the Innovative and Technology Payment (ITP). Combining with the practice of DRG and current conditions of innovative medical technology payment in China, this paper puts forward some policy suggestions on in- novative medical technology payment such as making the demands of applying clearly and reasonably determining the special fund and payment mechanism for innovative technology incentives and so on.
